Privacy policy

Effective July 19, 2026

This policy explains how The Blue Line collects, uses, shares, and retains information when you use the website, browser game, paid matchmaking, replay tools, and related services. The Blue Line is responsible for the service data described here and can be contacted at hello@bluelinegame.com.

Information we collect

Why we use information

We use information to provide and secure the service, authenticate wallets, pair opponents, run and verify matches, settle or refund escrow, prevent cheating and abuse, troubleshoot failures, provide support, maintain integrity evidence, and comply with legal obligations. Where data protection law applies, these purposes rely on performing the service you request, legitimate interests in operating and securing it, and legal obligations where applicable.

Public blockchain and result posts

Wallet addresses, escrow state, payouts, refunds, transaction identifiers, and replay digests submitted to Base are public and may remain available permanently through the blockchain and third-party indexers. We cannot edit or delete blockchain records.

Selected paid match and tournament results may be published by @BlueLineOnBase. Posts may include club names, score, stake, replay or transaction links, and game media. Result facts come from verified game records. We do not infer a participant’s social identity from a wallet or mention a participant’s social account without express permission.

Sharing and service providers

We share information only as needed to operate the service, process public onchain transactions, comply with law, protect the service, or respond to valid legal requests. Providers may include Render for hosting and databases, Reown and connected wallet providers, Base and RPC infrastructure, block explorers, and X for official result posts and links. These providers process information under their own terms and may operate in other countries. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

Retention and security

Expired login challenges and sessions are routinely deleted. Match, replay, settlement, security, and support records are retained for as long as reasonably needed for integrity, dispute evidence, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and support. Public blockchain records are not controlled by us and may be permanent. We use access controls, encrypted transport, hashed session tokens, and restricted production credentials, but no system is completely secure.

Your choices and rights

You can play free without a wallet, cancel matchmaking before pairing, disconnect your wallet, and clear browser storage. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection. These rights may not apply to public blockchain records or information we must retain for legal, security, or integrity reasons. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

To make a request, email hello@bluelinegame.com and include the relevant public wallet address or transaction identifier. We may ask you to sign a fresh, non-transaction message to verify control of a wallet. Never send a seed phrase or private key.

Children

Paid matchmaking is limited to people aged 18 or older. The service is not intended to collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information through the service.

Changes

We may update this policy as the service changes. The current version and effective date will remain available at this URL. See also the Terms of Service.
